Continental 5-30 x 56 FFP comes with a highly quality lens optical system LaREE and VePRO with surface treatment FMC, which can transmit up to an impressive 90procent of light. This makes the riflescope ideal even for situations with reduced visibility.
The reticle with ED FIBER illuminated point in 5 intensity levels in red provides quick magnification change up to 30x. It is powered by a CR2032 battery (not included). It belongs to the top premium series, the X6 model, competing with optics from the most famous global brands like Vortex Razor and others. It won't fog up, and you won't squint thanks to a 10 cm eye relief and Edge to Edge processing, eliminating internal edges of the riflescope.
This hunting riflescope features an etched VEC-MBR MIL Ranging Reticle with lines and dots placed in the First Focal Plane (FFP), meaning the reticle changes size with magnification adjustment. In practice, at 30x magnification, you'll see a large reticle, and at 5x magnification, you'll see a smaller reticle. Vertical and horizontal correction is indicated in milradians (MRAD) (also known as MIL), where 1 click = 0.1 MRAD. The elevation turret has a Zero Reset function. Parallax correction is adjustable from 10 yards (9.15 m). When turning the rectification turrets, you'll be guided by quiet clicks, making it easier to adjust the riflescope without turning your gaze away from the target. The adjustment mechanism is made of aerospace aluminum 7075 T6.
The turrets have a very low profile, allowing you to mount a collimator on top for situations where there's no time to change the magnification back. For example, using X-ACCU mount. All these elements are incorporated into a durable body with IP67 certification, also made of aerospace aluminum 6061 T6, allowing the riflescope to withstand recoil up to 750G (tested even with .338 Lapua Magnum). The forged tube from one piece has a diameter of 34 mm, and to prevent the lenses from fogging due to rapid temperature changes, the riflescope is nitrogen-filled.
